About
I’m a doctoral researcher at the Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy (STEaPP), University College London, and a member of the UCL Digital Speech Lab. I research how governments and digital platforms negotiate the governance of online speech, particularly during crises such as elections, natural disasters, and public health emergencies.
Before starting my PhD, I spent several years as a policy researcher at CSIS Indonesia, leading research projects on social media disinformation, online hate speech, personal data protection, and cybersecurity. That practitioner experience shapes how I approach my academic work. I’m interested in research that speaks to both scholarly communities and the policymakers who need it most.
